Kitagawahonke was founded in 1657 during the Edo period in Fushimi, Kyoto.

For over 360 years, we have been dedicated to traditional techniques and quality ingredients, thriving alongside Kyoto's rich culinary culture and abundant water resources. Our refined skills have earned us 21 gold awards at the National New Sake Awards (as of June 2023).
